OUT NOW ABC Album celebrating Australian female composers and performers
For ABC Classic’s 2022 “Women of Note” album, Katia Beaugeais is featured saxophonist performing Rosalind Page’s Fuglar himins (Birds of Heaven).
Fuglar himins was specially composed for Beaugeais who workshopped the piece and recorded it for ABC with pianist Phillip Shovk.
It was first released on Beaugeais’ 2021 ABC Classic saxophone album “Breath by Breath” which showcases her dual role as composer-performer.
