Katia Beaugeais is an award-winning Australian-French composer and saxophonist. She is an ABC Classics, Vandoren Paris + Selmer Sax Artist. Beaugeais recently graduated with a PhD in Composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and was featured on BBC Radio 3.
Both her saxophone and string orchestra music are currently the theme music for ABC New Waves and ABC Classic Breakfast radio.
With an innovative and unique repertoire ranging from solo saxophone to full orchestra, Beaugeais’ music has been performed and broadcast throughout Europe, UK, America, Canada, Asia, Peru, Australia and New Zealand.
